Gypsies

	Yearly meet of gypsies from all over Europe in southern France. Made in 1995 in the town where Van Gogh has once been and painted. As the procession with the statue of the holy virgin (which was rolled into the sea symbolically) was surrounded by thousands of tourists I concentrated on the people themselves and approached them in my best Spanish, Italian and other languages, to ask if they would pose.
